So who just spent over forty dollars on comic books?

That'd be me.

I've lived in this town for almost ten years now, and I just discovered that there's a comic book store close to home. I went there today and kinda went a little crazy. I got the sixth book in Fear Itself and Iron Man #501-508 and I can't wait to get the next issue. I also got the first issue of Batwoman, and I'm really loving this series.

Kate Kane totally kicks ass, even as a civilian she could probably give a couple of Batman's enemies a go. I love the artwork, too. I can't help but wonder who could play her if they ever made a live-action movie. There aren't a lot of actresses, redheaded or not, who could do it.

Possible people:
-Bryce Dallas Howard
-Christina Hendricks
-Kirsten Dunst
-Rachel Nichols
-Milla Jovovich
-Amanda Righetti

All of these women either have red hair or were redheads in the past. The first two I think wouldn't make the cut would have to be Christina Hendricks and Amanda Righetti. While Hendricks did kick Malcolm Reynolds' ass in Firefly I don't think she has the right stuff for the role and Righetti seems too much like a sweetheart. I can't see her hurting a fly let alone bad guys.

Could Bryce Dallas Howard kick ass? I don't know, I didn't see the latest Twilight movie. Maybe she did, maybe she didn't. It still doesn't feel quite right to me.

We all know that Milla Jovovich can kick ass and look good while doing it. I think Kirsten Dunst could fight crime with some training. She made a better vampire than Edward Cullen, that's for sure. I don't know if anyone remembers Rachel Nichols from G.I. Joe but she played Scarlett and could hold her own in a fight.

Maybe the best person for the job hasn't been discovered yet, or hasn't changed her hair color. I just like to think about these things. You know, for science.
